Wine Blending Party: France Wednesday April 24 2019 at 7:30 PM
Wednesday April 24 2019
Your event begins with a brief introduction to six French varietal red wines, their regions and characteristics. Seated in groups, you and your tablemates will then taste, blend and judge the wines created during the evening, awarding "BEST Blend of the Night" to the team who best tickled your taste buds.
The evening culminates with tasting a 'benchmark blend' with specially paired appetizers/cheeses, to see how close the evening's winning wine came to a master blend.
Your guide for the evening is Robert Caron, of Univins Wine and Spirits and a former Cellar Assistant for the renowned Tablas Creek Vineyards in California.
Come with a friend, a group, or come to make new friends at this fun and informative event to "blend the rules" and discover your own wine palate while supporting the Arts Council's programs.
