The title of this year's talk by Landscape Designer and Gardening insructor, Janis Matson is 'Gardening for your Senses' - The wonder of creating moods, impressions and atmosphere in your garden. Take a journey of discovery as you gain an understanding of the interplay of texture, colour, scent, movement, sound, and mood in your garden. Janis Matson will offer design ideas and some plant suggestions to help you add both sensory and aesthetic appeal to your balcony or backyard garden.

SPEAKER BIO Janis Matson holds a diploma in Landscape Design and Horticulture and has worked in the industry for almost thirty years. She is the owner and operator of Shoreline Landscape Design Limited and is a faculty instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in the Department of Horticulture. She also teaches regularly at Van Dusen Gardens.

Please note you are reserving a table and upon arrival you are able to pick a seat at that table. Tables 3-6 and 11-14 are low-top tables in the front and tables 7-10 are high-top tables.
