× Fireflies bring to life the trials and triumphs of 18-year-old Léo, a teenager waiting to finish high school and escape her narrow life in a small industrial town. The story centers on the strong friendship between Léo and her much older guitar teacher, Steve, which defies expectations as it touches on the characters' battling egos and negotiations of power. Named Best Canadian Film winner at TIFF, the film has been added to the festival’s annual Canada’s Top Ten list. French with English Subtitles.
